01.06.17 Hermès Pop-up Shoe Salon

Andrew Meredith-0017961.jpg

Nicholas Lee Architects was approached by Hermès GB to design a bespoke shoe salon within Harrods to present their women's autumn collection which would stay in place for a 4 month period.

Completed in a short project timeline, we designed an easily assembled kit of parts; a series of lightweight panels clad in a woven fabric, to create a warm and inviting space within the department store.

The panels have multiple functions: filtering natural daylight from the concealed windows, creating niches for the display shelves and as a support for a comfortable sofa for customers.
